Absolute wins host of new accounts

Exeter based communications agency, Absolute PR and Marketing, is celebrating after securing four new client accounts in the events, property and technology sectors.

Bespoke software solutions company, Ayrmer Software, has appointed Absolute to work on developing a new marketing campaign to include a focus on media relations. Ayrmer, which is based in Newton Abbot, designs and develops unique software packages for businesses in the UK and abroad.

Absolute has also recently begun working with Manor House Senior Living, the company behind a new concept in retirement living in Devon – Lincombe Manor Village. The complex in Torquay is based around a historic manor house and will offer luxury homes with hotel-style facilities and services including assisted living and care for those aged 55+. As well as acting as event organisers for the preview and launch events for Lincombe Manor Village, the account team at Absolute will run the regional press office and coordinate a communications campaign to target potential residents of the village.

Another new account for Absolute in the property arena is The Bay, Talland – a clifftop development of 42 contemporary holiday homes overlooking the unspoilt Talland Bay in south east Cornwall. The developer, Talland Homes LLP, has appointed Absolute to develop and issue regional press releases as well as project manage and copywrite a quarterly brochure and newsletter to keep prospective buyers and those who have already reserved their plots up to date with the latest happenings at The Bay.

To round off the quartet, Absolute will also be providing PR services including a press office facility for The Contemporary Craft Fair 2009 in Bovey Tracey, which will take place in June next year.

“We’re delighted that Absolute continues to attract new clients in a variety of different sectors,” commented Rachael Whitson, Account Director at Absolute. “Our strength of experience in the property field with clients such as Knight Frank helped us to successfully pitch to Manor House Senior Living and Talland Homes, and our new colleagues at Ayrmer were impressed by our excellent track record of working in the ICT industry. The Contemporary Craft Fair is something we’re really looking forward to working on, as it’s such a fantastic and renowned event which draws exhibitors from all over the UK and Ireland.

“We would always advise businesses that in times like these, a comprehensive PR and marketing campaign is more valuable than ever in order to get the right messages out to the right people. It’s an exciting time for Absolute having recently recruited new staff members, and we’re looking forward to a busy 2009.“

Formed in 1999, Absolute PR & Marketing specialises in media relations. The consultancy represents a variety of companies from small and emerging brands to established names including, Pipers Farm, Leisure East Devon, Continental Underfloor Heating and Knight Frank.
